LT JAN THAUMATURGY sel
THAUMATURGY occurs when an original portrait of an imaginary 20th century art spirit that taught me how to see, come to participate in my exploration of them in compositions of refracted color and light in appreciation of my knowing of their existence - are batched up in series of 12 originals (4 across and 3 down, sometimes more) of the same portrait bracketed by thirds to explore the values of its colors from light to dark, then lain on their sides and alternately flipped, thereby mirroring each. The resulting THAUMATURGY, so named for the unplanned magic it spontaneously amalgamates COULD be metaphysically described as color and light expressing THEMSELVES via the mirrored imaginary 20th century art spirits originally portrayed. What you see in these Thaumaturgies IS what the art spirits that taught ME how to SEE, want YOU to SEE as they organize themselves for their magical expressions.
Each image exists as maximum size and resolution Nikon raw files on San Disk memory cards and directly represent what the camera saw and I photographed. No post production has been involved but could be at time of printing, if needed or desired.

THIS PAGE IS BADLY DISCOMBOBULATED AND RUINED BY "WEEBLY WEBSITE BUILDER", THAT ENCOURAGES CREATIVITY IN BUILDING WEBSITES BUT REFUSES TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM THAT I'M HAVING WITH THEIR WEBSITE THAT I HAVE SPENT YEARS DEVELOPING, BRUSHING IT OFF WITH SOME BULLSHIT THAT IT IS A CUSTOM SITE (THAT THEY ENCOURAGED - BUILT ON THEIR OWN FRAMEWORK) NOT THE REGULAR TEMPLATE THAT WOULDN'T BE SUFFERING THESE RIDICULOUS DISCOMBOBULATIONS THAT PISS ME OFF SINCE THE IMAGERY IS PRECISE WHEN IT IS APPLIED - AS IT NEEDS TO BE TO WORK! THE PROBLEMS BEGAN, AFTER SOME 10 YEARS OF TROUBLE-FREE SERVICE, WHEN THIS COMPANY WAS BOUGHT OUT BY "SQUARE", A COMPUTER COMPANY WITH A $35 BILLION DOLLAR MARKET CAP, SO ONE WOULD THINK THEY WOULD HAVE THE RESOURCES TO FIX THE PROBLEM (or at LEAST invent a tool that would let US fix it when it FREQUENTLY occurs) WHICH I'M SURE VEXES OTHER LONGTIME LOYAL PAYING CUSTOMERS! ALL THAT IS REQUIRED IS FOR THE SITE TO KEEP EVERYTHING IN SIMPLE SEQUENTIAL, NUMERICAL ORDER WHICH IT CAN'T DO! I'M AT THE POINT OF SUING THEM FOR SELLING SOMETHING THEY CAN'T AND DON'T DELIVER. IT WORKED FINE BEFORE THEY GOT INVOLVED!
